WILDWEST WAKESURF SHOOTOUT, TRIBE X WAKESURF CHAMPIONSHIP 2020.
The health and safety of all CWSA members, athletes, families, event organizers, event volunteers, event spectators and event communities are of the highest priority for the CWSA.
The ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic has caused State of Emergency declarations by many national, regional and local governments.
These State of Emergency declarations have included within nation, regional and international travel restrictions and travel advisories. Travel restrictions may include quarantine periods upon entering or returning from a nation, region or locality. These travel restrictions and advisories are subject to change with limited, or in some cases, no prior notice.
The State of Emergency declarations have also impacted the availability of public services in many jurisdictions.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) have issued various public health guidelines for the protection of communities, participants, and spectators at sporting and other events.
Many national, regional and local governments have imposed these public health guidelines as requirements for sports events and event venues. These restrictions include event participant size limitations, social distancing standards and other protocols.
Because of these developments the CWSA, in consultation with the event organizers, announces the postponement of the following events:
The Wildwest Wakesurf Shootout
Lake Pleasant, AZ, USA (Gold Level)
Postponed from 4/03/2020-4/04/2020 to a date to be determined.
All athlete event registration fees for this event will be refunded.
Tribe X Wakesurf Championship 2020
Persian Gulf, Dubai, UAE (Gold Level)
Postponed from 4/10/2020- 4/11/2020 to a date to be determined.
All athlete event registration fees for this event will be refunded.

We continue to remain optimistic that this world health crisis will be successfully resolved in the very near future.
