The 2018 Canadian Wakesurf National Championship is this upcoming weekend (8/17/2018 – 8/19/2018) and will follow our “place points” model. This means that a rider will be assigned a value (out of 100 possible points) based on the rank that the rider earned during each heat. Example:1st place: 100 points2nd place: 90 points3rd place: 80 points4th place: 75 points All of the rider’s runs are added up at the end of the event to determine the overall winner of the division! Example: Out of 3 possible runs for each pro rider… a 1st place finish in each run will give them 300 points total, while a rider with 3 2nd place finished will only receive 270 points. In the event of a tie, the rider who has the better rank on their last run will be the winner.
