The CWSA Board of Directors regretfully announces that Anastasia Nisenbaum has taken another position in the world of sports, and due to the time demands of that position she will no longer be an active member of the CWSA team. Anastasia will continue to act as a consultant to the Executive Committee for select special projects. Anastasia began working with the CWSA in March 2017 as assistant to the Executive Committee, and since 2018 she has been our Global Liaison, and the principal point of contact and solution provider for most email questions, membership and event registration, payment and refund and other operational issues encountered by members and event organizers, especially in Europe. If you have sent an email to the CWSA in the past 2 years, you have interacted with Anastasia. Anastasia’s list of contributions and accomplishments for the CWSA and the sport of wakesurfing is long, substantial and is best summarized by the observation that if you are a CWSA member athlete or event organizer, Anastasia’s work has touched your life. For those in Eastern Europe who have become accustomed to having your questions and concerns addressed with a text or private message to Anastasia, regrettably she will not be able to assist you going forward as she will be occupied with her new ventures, and she will not be able to access the information needed to address your questions or respond. Please don’t take offense if she is not able to respond to you. Going forward, please continue to reach out the CWSA directly by email to the CWSA Team at info@competitivewakesurfing.com. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I thank Anastasia for her diligent and professional work for the CWSA and wish her the very best in all future endeavors. Jon E.
